It also looks at the cost of poor vision on the global economy and the vision crises that are taking place around the world. Featuring interviews with the world’s leading ophthalmologists, optometrists, technologists, and humanitarians discussing how sight works and how every individual will face vision problems in their lifetime, the documentary includes stories of courageous people struggling to fight off the darkness of blindness, as well as researchers and scientists showing the exciting future of augmented vision and the possibilities to restore sight. This film has been color corrected to assist the color blind.
We are pleased to have Dr. Steven Feldon, chair of the University of Rochester Department of Ophthalmology and director of the Flaum Eye Institute, joining us as our special guest for the evening. Dr. Feldon is an internationally acclaimed clinical and basic scientist with a specialty in orbital disease and neuro-ophthalmology. He will lead a conversation following the film screening.
